1) Scope & acceptance What these Terms cover, and who they apply to

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of (a) our website, (b) any group or private laughter therapy sessions, workshops, coaching, digital programs, recordings, written materials, and (c) any related communications and support. By accessing the site or booking/attending services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to book directly, or have a parent/guardian book on your behalf.
  • If you use services for a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
  • These Terms apply in addition to any session-specific rules stated at the time of booking.
2) Health, safety, and medical disclaimer Laughter therapy is not medical care

Our services are educational and wellness-focused and do not constitute medical, psychiatric, or emergency care. You are responsible for your physical and mental wellbeing while participating.

  • If you have any condition that may be affected by breathwork, movement, or sustained laughter, consult a licensed clinician before participating.
  • Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or distress, and seek appropriate help.
  • For emergencies, call your local emergency number. We do not provide crisis services.
3) Booking, rescheduling, and cancellations How appointments and workshops are handled

Session times are reserved specifically for you (or your group). If you need to reschedule, please do so as early as possible. Rescheduling and cancellation rules may vary by offering and are confirmed during checkout/booking.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shorter session to respect other bookings.
  • No-shows are typically not refundable because the time was reserved.
  • If we need to reschedule due to facilitator availability, you may choose a new date or request a refund for that booking.
4) Payment, refunds, and chargebacks What happens if you request a refund

Prices, taxes (if applicable), and payment timing are displayed during booking. If you believe a billing error occurred, contact us promptly so we can investigate and resolve it.

  • Refund eligibility depends on the specific service (live session vs. digital content) and timing of your request.
  • For digital materials already accessed or downloaded, refunds may be limited unless required by law.
  • Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Unresolved chargebacks may suspend access to services and materials.
5) Privacy & confidentiality in sessions How we treat personal information and group safety

We aim to create supportive sessions. Please be mindful that in group settings we cannot fully guarantee confidentiality because other participants are present. We encourage all attendees to treat shared information respectfully.

  • Do not record sessions unless explicit permission is granted by the facilitator and participants (where applicable).
  • Do not share other participants’ personal stories outside the session.
  • If you choose to share sensitive information, you do so voluntarily and at your own discretion.
6) Acceptable use Respectful participation and website rules

You agree to engage respectfully and to use the website and services in a lawful manner. We may refuse service or remove participants for conduct that disrupts sessions or harms others.

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, or unwanted sexual content.
  • No impersonation, fraud, or attempts to access accounts or systems without authorization.
  • No distribution of malware, scraping, or actions that degrade the site’s availability or security.
7) Intellectual property Our content, your permissions, and limits

Unless otherwise stated, the website and all session materials (audio/video, scripts, exercises, PDFs, and branding) are owned by us or licensed to us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use.

  • You may not resell, redistribute, publicly post, or create derivative works from protected materials without written permission.
  • Logos, names, and brand elements may not be used in ways that imply endorsement.
  • If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us permission to use them without restriction (without disclosing your identity).
8) Limitations of liability How responsibility is allocated

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of services or the website.

  • Participation in laughter-based practices may involve physical exertion; you assume the associated risks.
  • Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
  • Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limitations apply to the maximum lawful extent.
9) Changes to these Terms How updates are communicated

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or operational improvements. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
